Idol Hangover: The Final Four Per(four)m

In case you didn’t catch last night’s American Idol (Evan Lysacek performing a dance from The Fifth Element?), here are last night’s best performances:

Casey James – His choice of “Mrs. Robinson” was probably one of the most pandering picks in Idol history. Not since Kristy Lee Cook’s rendition of “God Bless the USA” has a song probably resonated with its intended audience. The question is, will his cougar fan base turn out to vote?

Lee Dewyze & Crystal Bowersox– Their duet was great – and proved why these two are the frontrunners for the finale.

Who’s in danger tonight?
With only four left in the competition, it’s not easy to pick a handful of good or bad performances. Simply given his history, I think Michael Lynche should be the most concerned about being eliminated. With that said, Casey better hopes his battle cry to the cougars will be enough to have them vote like crazy.

  1. Here’s the thing. I have dissed Lee all season long. And then I heard samples from his album Slumberland . What a difference! He’s terrific. Musically and vocally.
