In case you didn’t catch last night’s American Idol (too busy dancing with washed up stars?), here are the night’s best three performances:
Casey James – He hit everything he needed to – the song, the look, and the attitude. If he keeps it up, he’ll firm up a guaranteed place in the finale.
Lee Dewyze – Best performance of the night – and a rising dark horse in this competition.
Crystal Bowersox – I don’t what Simon was criticizing, but I personally liked the outfit and the song choice. She’s still the frontrunner, and kept it going in a week that mostly dominated by the guys.
And who’s going home?
Andrew Garcia? I don’t care what the judges said, that rendition of “Forever” was the worst case of abuse since…well, I won’t go there. He won’t go home though- the judges’ vote of confidence and the most contemporary song choice of the night will prevent that. Katie Stevens and Tim Urban? Please. This is getting to be a drawn out joke.
R&B Night was tough on these ten -it’s time for nine.
