There are few things as uncool as Urban Outfitters. In terms of setting trends, UO is about as relevant to fashion as Ricky Martin is to music today. But, on Cahuenga, they have a new interesting concept bubbling up.
Space 15 Twenty is technically a supersize Urban Outfitters, with multiple pop-up shops located within it. Among these small stores are Free People, Umami Burger, Hennessy & Ingalls, What Goes Around Comes Around, and Gallery Space. It basically took a bunch of smaller, trendier stores to make its giant Urban seem authentic and cool.
While all of these stores can be found other places in LA, it is a novel idea to try combining them all in one. On top of that, when you sell items ranging from burgers to shot glasses with Family Guy quotes, it’s hard to say you won’t find something for almost everybody. If you’re looking for a unique gift for someone, I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll find it here. Unless that person is me. Then again, if you think I’d enjoy a novelty bedazzled flask from a glorified Urban Outfitters, then we’re probably not meant to be friends anyway.
Space 15 Twenty is located at 1520 N. Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood.
